Part-time, Permanent Pianist/Organist

General Responsibility

Plan and provide piano and/or organ accompaniment for worship services and other church functions. Sunday worship services include a combination of traditional hymns and contemporary-style band music and worship songs.

Duties

Provide prelude, offertory and postlude music

Coordinate worship service themes with Pastor and Deacons

Accompany seasonal choir rehearsals

Participate and lead worship band

Participate in Church Worship Committee

Skills and Requirements

Proficiency in playing the piano with additional organ skills

Ability to work collaboratively with other musicians, church staff, and church committees

Hours and Compensation

Part-time position with the expectation of no more than 8 hours/week
